Eclipse teams showed improvement across the club this weekend at the Sonoma State 6v6 Tournament. After winning only a handful of games clubwide at this tournament last year and struggling throughout it, Eclipse teams played a higher quality style of soccer at this year’s Sonoma tournament and experienced more success.
Most notably, the Eclipse Solar teams all showed tons of improvement by playing better soccer and being much more competitive than they were just a few weeks ago.
The U11 Girls Lunar team won their second tournament in a row with a dominating win in the final. They did not lose a game all tournament.
The U12 Girls team split into two halves for this tournament with both halves experiencing success in the group stage and meeting each other in the semifinal. The half that won the semifinal went on to win the final as well.
The U10 Girls Lunar team played tough all day long, winning their first four games. Although they lost their last game, the girls earned a much-deserved second place finish.
Congrats to all of the Eclipse players and coaches on their hard work this weekend in Sonoma!
